I'll stamp all over 'serious boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.

Former twice unified boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, consistently making substantial paydays.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary face-off, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
